BLACK TENNIS (BT) magazine is a sports publication that highlights African Americans who participate in tennis tournaments, activities and related events.  Feature articles are published about professional, amateur and junior players as they participate in local, national and international events. Activities of the American Tennis Association and other clubs are covered in each issue. Also, special attention is given to tennis instruction, book reviews, and junior development programs.

9,000 copies of this publication are produced on a quarterly schedule and distributed to all members of the American Tennis Association and via subscription to a national market.

Since 1977, we have endeavored to stimulate the awareness and patronage of the public regarding African American participation in tennis.  Over the years, we have seen an increase in the number of players and a greater concern for getting more minorities in tennis.
